Route for Saturday, January 21, 2012

8:15 a.m.

This Saturday we'll be at Olga's Cup and Saucer.  
Olga's is owned by RMHP's own Becky Wagner and is located at 103 Point Street, in Providence.  Doors open at 8:00.

5 Mile Route
Left out of Olga's to Point Street
Over the point street bridge to Wickenden
Follow to end, right onto Gano
Follow Gano to the Pedestrian Bridge
(Just after you pass under the overpass, turn right, there's a set of stair or a ramp up onto the bridge)
Follow the bridge to the end, down the hill and across the street onto First Street
Follow to Veterans Memorial Parkway, and the bike path begins on the right.
Follow the bike path to the parking lot (the end of the first big lot) - then hop back on the road (Veterans Memorial Parkway)
     *We'll be running with traffic for a few minutes, so either safely cross the road, or be aware of traffic coming up behind you.
Lyons Road on your left is the 2.5 mile mark - its about .5 miles after we get onto Veterans Memorial Parkway.

Just after you cross over Warren Ave (at the 4 mile mark) look for Orchard St on your left
Left onto Orchard
Third left onto Lyon
Follow to end
Right onto Veterans Memorial Parkway
Take your next right onto 5th Street
Follow to end
Left onto Warren - follow to end.  It'll put you back on the bike path and pedestrian bridge
Gano to Wickenden and back to Olga's

Continue over the pedestrian bridge
Coming off the pedestrian bridge, head up Gano (past Wickenden)
Gano turns into Taber
Cross over Angel
Left onto Lloyd
Left onto Brook
Right onto Wickenden and back to Olga's
(For those of you that want to hit exactly 10 - run past Olga's three blocks and then back)
